Explore the magical world of Lewis Carroll's Alice Through the Looking Glass, where you'll meet wondrous creatures like the mimsy borogrove, the frumious bandersnatch, and the dreaded Jabberwock! This celebration of the imagination is a marvelous introduction to the world of poetry, as well as a fabulous and funny adventure tale filled with stunning puppets and fantastical scenery.

Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, was a master of fantasy and word play. Jabberwocky, a poem from the sequel to Alice in Wonderland, tells the tale of a heroic boy who sets out on a quest to find the fierce Jabberwock. Aided by his friends the borogroves, he travels through a mysterious landscape filled with such peculiar creatures as the slithy toves and the JubJub bird. Our production uses a variety of beautiful hand and rod puppets to tell this rousing adventure story featuring daring deeds, imaginary creatures and a climactic battle between boy and beast. Atmospheric lighting effects, whimsical scenery and an exciting musical score complete the package. Crabgrass Puppet Theatre's Jabberwocky is a hilarious and entertaining introduction to poetry as well as a delightful romp through the world of language and literature!
